For the facilitation and realisation of guest booking; the successful execution of the guest’s stay; to coordinate the hotel stay according to the wishes and interests of the guest; to ensure the provision of future hotel services which correspond with the interests of the guest; for marketing purposes as pertaining to hotel performance and the improvement of this performance.

Processing of personal data

Use and dissemination of the collected data

We use the personal data provided by you exclusively for the purposes communicated or agreed upon, that is, as a rule, for processing the contract concluded with you to answer your inquiry or for sending a newsletter. If you make use of our services, generally only such data will be collected as we need to provide the services. As far as we ask you for more information, it is voluntary information. The processing of personal data takes place exclusively for the fulfillment of the requested service and for the preservation of justified own business interests.

Declaration of consent of the user

By using our websites and the offers contained therein, you agree that the personal data you have voluntarily submitted will be stored by us and processed and used in accordance with this privacy policy.

Are personal data forwarded to third parties?

Processing and use of your data for purposes of consulting, advertising and market research is only with your express consent. Your data will not be sold or rented. Disclosure to our affiliates (such as travel agents, hotels, ski schools, etc.) will only be made to the extent necessary to perform our services. Transfers of personal data to state institutions and authorities are only possible within the framework of mandatory national legislation.

Compulsory Guest Registration

According to the Austrian Registration Laws you are required to register with us, providing all data specified in § 5 and § 10 of the Registration Act. This concerns the following data:
Name, date of birth, gender, nationality, country of origin, address and postal code and - for foreign guests - the type, number, date of issue and issuing authority of a travel document as well as the date of arrival and departure.

Official Guest Register

We will keep this data in an official Guest Register based on the legal obligation in accordance with § 19 of the Registration & Implementation Act, and store it for a period of 7 (seven) years unless this data is processed for other purposes and longer periods stated in this privacy policy. [Only in case of Electronic Guest Register] The official Guest Register is managed electronically by our responsible office, all data is forwarded to the respective IT processor. This data is stored locally and not transmitted to a third country.

Disclosure of Data

To contracted service providers who supply cloud-based software and data handling solutions to the hotel. These providers operate with the sole purpose of processing and analysing guest data for the aforementioned purposes.

The data categories "Arrival" and "Departure" linked to the country of origin are forwarded to the respective municipality in which our accommodation is located in accordance with § 6 of the Tourism Statistics Regulation. Aggregated data - regarding the total number of overnight stays and persons who are obliged to pay the resort tax - are also transmitted to Ötztal Tourismus, our regional tourist board, and/or to the municipality. This is done on the basis of § 19 of Tirol's Resort Tax Regulations.

Legal Basis of Processing

The processing in accordance with above mentioned points 1.1 to 1.3 is based on GDPR art. 6 para. 1 lit. c.

Additional Data Transmission to the Tourist Board/Municipality

In addition, we forward your postal code and your year of birth (in a pseudonymized or anonymized way) to the tourism association and to our local municipality in order to compile and evaluate statistics on country of origin and age. This transfer of data is based on GDPR art. 6 (1) lit. e (duty in the public interest) and lit. f (predominant legitimate interests). You can object to the processing at any time for reasons that arise from your particular situation (GDPR art. 21 para. 1).

Consent and right of withdrawal

If your consent to the processing of your data is necessary, we will process them only after your express consent. You can revoke your consent at any time under the e-mail address office@nature-resort.at. In such a case, the data previously stored about you will be anonymized, as far as this does not violate legal provisions (such as retention obligation), and subsequently further used only for statistical purposes without personal reference. The revocation of the consent shall not affect the legality of the processing effected on the basis of the consent until the revocation.

Data security

We use technical and organizational security measures to protect the stored personal data against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss or destruction and against access by unauthorized persons. Our security measures are continually being improved in line with technical progress.

Your rights

You have the right to information about the relevant personal data at any time. Insofar as there is no statutory storage obligation, you have the right to delete this data and object to the processing. Web Server Log

For smooth functioning and, if necessary, troubleshooting, web pages generally save logs on the web server where IP addresses are stored. Like many other companies, we operate our website on servers of a professional service provider.
