Start: Sölden
End: Oetz
Duration: Approx. 4:00h
Distance: Approx. 50 km
Elevation gain: 245 m

The public bus takes you to Sölden (approx. 40 minutes). From there, the new Ötztal Cycle Trail begins, leading you out of the valley past numerous three-thousand-meter peaks and several waterfalls along the Ötztaler Ache. The trail passes through the villages of Huben, Längenfeld, Umhausen, Tumpen, Habichen, and Oetz. Highlights of the tour include the local history museum in Längenfeld, Tyrol's highest waterfall – the Stuibenfall in Umhausen, and Lake Piburg in Oetz. The tour can be extended based on your fitness level.

The route leads directly from the Resort into the Inntal to Mieming and then around the Tschirgant mountain massif. Through the beautiful forests and meadows of the Gurgltal, past the Knappenwelt, you reach Imst. The route continues along the Inn through the impressive Imst gorge where the Ötztaler Ache flows into the Inn. The last section is along the Ötztaler Ache back to your accommodation in Oetz.

Vinschgau cycle path (South Tyrol)

Duration: approx. 4:00h
Distance: approx. 65 km
Elevation gain: 101 hm

Travel by car and e-bike to Nauders (approx. 1:00h - 1:15h journey time). From there, you’ll cross the historic border between North and South Tyrol. The cycle path leads along the left side of Lake Reschen (Reschenpass) and past the famous sunken church tower of St. Anna in Graun. The route continues through scenic landscapes along the Adige river, passing through the villages of Burgeis, Schleis, and Mals, before reaching the medieval town of Glurns. Take a longer break in this charming town, with its walkable town wall being a must-see highlight.

The second part of the tour takes you through the apple orchards for which the Venosta Valley is known. Continue through the villages of Prad, Laas, Schlander, and Goldrain to Latsch. From there, a taxi (to be organized in advance) will take you back to Nauders.
