Before the first tents and huts were built on the current Resort site, we lived by the motto "Feelfree." As pioneers of whitewater and outdoor sports in the Ötztal, we have come to know the region's rivers, canyons, trails, and hiking paths like the back of our hand over the years. And because the spirit of adventure still burns within us, we’re excited to guide you outdoors—whether it’s rafting, canyoning, biking, caving, climbing, or so much more.

Canyoning
Rock formations millions of years old, emerald-green pools, thundering waterfalls, and sun-warmed steep walls create an adventurer's paradise. Accompanied by experienced guides and double-secured, you’ll swim, slide, jump, and hike through the gorge. Via ferrata
A total of 10 via ferratas await climbers in the Ötztal, each offering a unique challenge. Some, like the practice via ferrata at Piburg, are beginner-friendly, while others, like the renowned Reinhard Schiestl via ferrata on the Burgsteiner Wand, are for the more experienced. The best way to explore these thrilling routes is with Feelfree’s expert climbing guides, ensuring you experience the world from the wire rope, with breathtaking views at every step.
Caving
Have you ever explored the inside of a mountain? You can embark on this thrilling adventure with us in a historic tunnel that was once part of a hydroelectric power station. Discover the remnants of old buildings, and perhaps even spot a few bats! The highlight is a descent into the 350-meter-long, steep pressure tunnel—equipped with the proper gear and a headlamp to guide you through the complete darkness.
